NPM Error : ENOENT, stat'C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\npm'

Error prompted when using NPM:

 Error: ENOENT, stat'C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\npm'

 Manually creating a folder named 'npm' in the displayed path fixed the problem.
